Alta Mira lies on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the canton of Guanagaste.
The farm can be reached from San Jose in approx. 5-6 hours by car. From Liberia, where the second international airport is located, it is about a 2.hour drive.
Two other cities in the vicinity, Santa Cruz and Nicoya, also offer a good infrastructure and shopping.
The beautiful beaches of Ostional, Nosare and Pelada can be reached on foot from Alta Mira.
